TikTok is warning of a growing trend where fake tattoo artists are targeting Oklahoma residents with deceptive practices. Scammers pose as professional tattoo artists, offering low-cost or free tattoos before demanding payment upfront or pressuring victims into costly add-ons. Authorities caution that these schemes often leave customers with subpar or dangerous tattoos, raising concerns about both financial and health risks. The platform has taken steps to address the issue, but experts urge users to verify credentials before committing to any tattoo services.
